Throughout the Second World War, there were many people who became thrown into the heart of the deadliest conflict in History. There was one female teacher who lived in The Philippines, and she was terrified that her students and herself would be taken by the Japanese Army and would be forced into becoming Comfort Women. However Nieves Fernandez then took up arms against the Japanese, and she created a guerilla group of fighters made up of 110 men and she trained them to silently kill. She developed her own method of killing using her Bolo Knife which was very effective. Nieves Fernandez became a silent assassin, and her group were responsible for the deaths of over 200 Japanese soldiers.Â
