Today Im going to give you 5 tricks to make intermittent fasting work faster.
1. Potassium
Potassium is the most important mineral to help fix a problem with insulin. Consume a lot of vegetables or enhance your diet with a potassium supplement to make sure youre getting enough.
2. Avoid overeating
Try not to overstuff yourself when you eat. If you feel you need more, consume a salad in the middle of your eating windowafter your first meal and before your second.
3. Do it gradually
Dont jump into intermittent fasting too fast. Gradually reduce the number of meals you consume as you feel comfortable to avoid blood sugar issues.
4. Get extra sleep
When youre tired, cortisol raises significantly, which then spikes insulin. This spike in insulin will then knock you out of fat-burning. Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep. If you need to take a nap, thats fine.
5. Add HIIT
HIIT stands for high-intensity interval training. This is an intense full-body workout that will really help increase growth hormone, anti-aging, fat-burning, and more. The key is high-intensity for a short duration, with a lot of rest. This can be good to do 1-3 times a week.
